Lending

All Library members (Students, teachers, Non-teaching staff) may borrow book(s) from the Library. Teachers may borrow maximum 20 books one by one or at a time. Non-teaching staff may borrow 10 books at a time. Students can borrow 5 books at a time through their Book Issue card.

Reading Room

There are two reading rooms for the students and teachers in the Library. Student can take maximum 3 books at a time for reading through their Reading Room card. There is also a separate reading room for the teachers in the Library. In students reading room a separate reading table for the physically challenged students. Capacity: For student-40 person. For teachers-16 person.

OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue)

The library has fully computerized its most actively used collection, which is searchable through OPAC, the computer catalogue; OPAC is extremely user- friendly and enables searches to be conducted with ease and speed. The OPAC allows search by author, title, subject, call number, keywords, and Boolean search.

Reference Service

This type of service is given to the members throughout the Library hours.

Newspaper clippings

We also maintain a separate register of newspaper clippings for the current and future benefit for the members specially for the students.

New arrivals

A separate notice board is arranged for displaying the information about the new arrivals of the Library.

Institutional Repository

We maintain a repository of current as well as previous Question Papers of University and College both for the sake of student and teacher.

NList

Shree Agrasen Mahavidyalaya is an institutional member of the NList since 2021. Students and teachers can use the library as institutional member after generating the user id and password from library. The website address of NList is www.nlist.co.in.
